Maine schools who have students who are eligible to receive materials through the NIMAC may contact one of Authorized Users listed below:
Bookshare
Maine has designated Bookshare as an Authorized User. Maine schools with a Bookshare membership may download NIMAC-sourced textbooks and deliver them to their students with a qualified print disability and an IEP. Bookshare converts NIMAC-sourced books into formats ready for students (DAISY or BRF) in two weeks or less. More information about Bookshare as an Authorized User.
Recordings for the Blind and Dyslexic - RFB&D
Maine has designated Recordings for the Blind and Dyslexic (RFB&D) as an Authorized User. Maine schools may order NIMAC-sourced textbooks, have them converted into specialized formats, and delivered to them to use with their students with a qualified print disability and an IEP.
